The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RC4 is an External Compact Flash Memory Card. This memory card can store up to 512 MB of data. It is the largest external storage medium for Allen-Bradley’s PanelView Plus or PanelView Plus CE terminals. To keep this terminal safe, do not use memory cards manufactured by manufacturers other than Allen-Bradley. Only this CF memory card is designed and tested in operation with 2711P terminals. The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RC4 CF card comes empty; locate the CF card slot on the PanelView Plus or PanelView Plus CE terminals and insert this card. Push the card inside until the card is firmly seated. Do not force the card into the slot because this may result in card damaging. Pay attention that for the PanelView Plus 400 and PanelView Plus 600 terminals, the card must be inserted with the AB logo positioned toward the display. For PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 or for PanelView Plus CE terminals, the card should be turned in the opposite direction instead. The CF card can also be removed by pressing the eject button.

This card can be used to upload and download files from the terminal; there is an option of connecting this card to PCMCIA slot of the user’s PC by using an adapter, (Allen-Bradley 2711P-RCH spare part). When this CF card is not being used, it should be stored in a dry and dark place, not exposed directly to sunlight).
