The X20CP1382, with material number X20CP1382, is a member of the X20 Compact controller series. It features an Intel x86 400 MHz compatible processor integrated with an I/O processor. Boasting 256 MB DDR3 SDRAM and a 2 GB onboard flash drive, it offers sufficient storage and memory for various operations. The 32 kB FRAM for remanent variables is a useful addition. Its fanless and battery - free design not only reduces maintenance but also ensures reliable operation.

Integrated I/O Modules

This controller is distinct for its 3 integrated I/O modules. It comes with 30 digital inputs/outputs and 2 analog inputs. Notably, 1 analog input can be used for Pt1000 resistance temperature measurement. These integrated I/O capabilities make it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, allowing for seamless connection and control of different devices and sensors.

Connectivity and Expansion

The X20CP1382 offers rich connectivity options. It has Ethernet, 2x USB, an RS232 interface, POWERLINK, and CAN bus as integrated interfaces. For even more flexibility, it has 1 slot for modular interface expansion. This enables users to add additional fieldbus connections using an interface module from the X20 standard portfolio, adapting the controller to diverse industrial networking requirements.
