The sensing face, crafted from PBT, is green in color. With an IP65/66/67/68 protection rating, it can endure harsh conditions, including dust and water exposure. It has a wide ambient temperature range of - 40 to +85 °C, suitable for both extremely cold and hot industrial settings. The non - flush installation design allows for flexible mounting using nuts with a tightening torque of 0 - 30 Nm.​

2. Sensing Capabilities​

This sensor is designed to detect metallic objects with a rated operating distance of 15 mm, and an assured operating distance spanning from 0 to 12.15 mm. It features a PNP output type with a 3 - wire configuration, operating on DC voltage. The switching frequency can reach up to 1150 Hz, enabling rapid detection and response. The yellow LED switching state indicator, visible from multiple angles, provides clear visual feedback on the sensor's operation. It has a 5% typical hysteresis, ensuring stable and reliable detection without false triggering.​

Operating within a voltage range of 5 - 36 V DC, the NBN15 - 30GM50 - E2 offers great flexibility in power supply compatibility. It comes equipped with reverse polarity protection, safeguarding against incorrect voltage connection. The short - circuit protection, implemented as pulsing, ensures the sensor's safety during electrical faults. The voltage drop is ≤ 1 V, and the operating current ranges from 0 - 200 mA, while the no - load supply current is ≤ 10 mA, making it energy - efficient. It also has a fast response time with a time delay before availability of ≤ 10 ms.
