A ring magnet integrated within the float activates the contacts inside the probe tube using its magnetic field. In a liquid - handling industrial process, like in a chemical plant, it can precisely determine when the liquid level reaches a certain point. The device can avoid switching point skipping caused by sudden level changes with the help of snap - on set collars on the probe tube.
